Around 2009 we made a bold move for a small company--we bought up ALL remaining Hiwin "Legacy" guideway products in the AG and LG series. Hiwin superseded those with the EG and HG. We did this through three purchases from warehouses in the USA, Taiwan and Japan. Just the US purchase alone required six tractor trailers to move material to our facility!

In the ensuing years we sold off nearly all of the smaller size guideways (15mm, 20mm and 25mm). That amounted to thousands and thousands of carriages and miles and miles of rail. It is something we never believed would happen. We also learned that there were lots of willing customers out there who yearned for a reliable source for decent-quality, reasonably-priced guideways available in the USA and cut to specific sizes.

The introduction of our BLH series of guideways is in direct response to this scenario. It is not a decision we have taken lightly, and we are fully committed to the direction we have gone. Here are some important things you should know.

• This new BLH offering is roughly 1/2 the cost of "major brand" guideways, and it is priced equivalent to or slightly lower than what we sold the Legacy Hiwin AG and LG for.
  
  
• Our BLH carriages and rails are made in China. We are not in any way trying to hide that. However, they are made in an ISO 9001:2000 factory, and we are confident in the quality and consistency of the product. We stand behind it.
  
  As we searched for a manufacturing partner we learned that there are lots of unscrupulous folks out there who are producing look-alike items of well-known brands...right down to the colors and engraved part numbers. Worse, they are selling through ebay and other venues obviously with the intent to fool customers that they're getting the real thing. We're not out to try and fool anyone. We want you to know exactly what you are getting.
  
  
• We are offing a full range of sizes from miniature (small as 9mm) up to super-heavy-duty 45mm.
  
  
• Our BLH line is dimensionally the same as products from virtually all manufacturers. That means we generally have a bolt-in solution to anything you have now or for any brand you've planned on using. And for some brands the carriages and rails are INTERCHANGEABLE. • We're stocking a huge amount of product in our North Carolina warehouse...many hundreds of carriages and many hundreds of 4000mm rails. That means we can get stuff to you fast. We also are experts in rail cutting, and we'll provide you exactly what you need. No longer do you have to work around some arbitrary rail lengths that someone happens to have listed on ebay.
